Recycle Hand Instruments

Thank you for your interest in the Premier® Instrument Recycling Program. To help you  build a more sustainable and earth-friendly dental practice, Premier invites you to submit used dental instruments in exchange of a new instrument. See below for details.

PLEASE NOTE: Only stainless steels instruments can be recycled. Instruments having resin handles with stainless steel working ends will be accepted. Hinged instruments or instruments made entirely of resin/plastic will not be accepted. For the safety of all package handlers, ALL returned instruments must be heat sterilized and clean of debris prior to shipping. The instruments should be returned in an unopened sterilized bag and placed in bundles of 10. The packaging should be sturdy enough to keep the instruments from possibly poking through.

Premier has the right to change or cancel the program at any time.

Any brand of hand instruments are accepted.

Types of hand instruments that can be recycled: hygiene, diagnostic, operative, endodontic, laboratory. No hinged instruments.

Yes you can. The instruments should be returned in an unopened sterilized bag and placed in bundles of 10. For each bundle, the Receipt containing the receipt number received via email must be printed and placed in the box.

The fee is required to ensure each submission is properly tracked through the recycling process and your new instrument is expedited for shipment.

The returned instruments are inspected and accounted for before being reprocessed into a usable grade of raw material for new projects.
